Stone pillars stand in the middle of a calm body of water, surrounded by lush greenery and under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. The reflections of the pillars and clouds enhance the serene landscape. These pillars are what's left of the Central Wisconsin Railroad Bridge across the St. Croix River near Somerset Wisconsin. They are still standing after nearly 150 years.
I am a photographer based in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Photography is an integral part of my exploration of the world. I use my camera to document and explore unique perspectives and anomalous subjects, drawing the viewer's attention to unseen details, vibrant colors, and distinctive compositions. My photos have won a number of awards and have been published in a variety of print and digital media. I exhibit both locally and nationally and was awarded the Artist at Pine Needles Residency, sponsored by the St. Croix Watershed Research Station and the Science Museum of Minnesota.
